Washington DC - Hurricane Irene pushed on the U.S. east coast stretching between Florida and New York, Maine. Citizens residing in the states of the route storm Irene was asked to not leave the house.
"Anticipation of hurricane Irene, I'll let the people of Indonesia on the East Coast full alert, check your home, do not get out, keep families and monitor weather reports," pleaded ambassador in Washington DC, Dino Patti Djalal, via twitter account, August 27, 2011.
Dino called on citizens to find the latest info about the storm speed 140 km / hour on site or 1.usa.gov/qfeyrt weather.gov.
Irene storm killed at least eight people. President Barack Obama has warned that the storm will probably be the storm 'historic' because of the danger area. Already seven states from North Carolina to Connecticut state territory in the state of emergency before the arrival of Irene.
Meanwhile, Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Aman Anifah as represented by The Star newspaper reported Sunday (28/08/2011) states, all Malaysians residing in areas affected by Irene, now are safe. Government to monitor the storm's progress closely, through the Embassy in Washington and Consul General in New York. Foreign Ministry officials at Kuala Lumpur also monitor the situation until the end.
